END USER DECLARATION FORM FOR ULVAC CUSTOMERS & END USERS
Dear Valued Customer,
At ULVAC Technologies, we don’t just build vacuum equipment—we build trust. Every pump, leak detector, and system we manufacture reflects a promise: that we are committed not only to innovation, but to integrity, responsibility, and global safety. Behind every product we ship is a network of U.S. regulations designed to ensure that advanced technologies don’t fall into the wrong hands or get misused for purposes that conflict with global security or human rights.
That’s where the End User Declaration (EUD) comes in. Think of the EUD as a passport control for technology. It’s a simple document, but it plays a vital role in confirming that our customers—and their customers—are using ULVAC products for approved and lawful applications. Whether you're purchasing a vacuum pump for semiconductor R&D or a leak detector for medical manufacturing, this form ensures we remain in compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Because in today’s world, advanced technology can be misused. The U.S. government has strict regulations about where high-tech products can go and how they can be used. ULVAC, as a responsible supplier, must avoid transactions with embargoed or sanctioned countries. We also apply enhanced scrutiny to certain sectors; especially oil and gas—as well as specific end-use applications, such as advanced computing and semiconductor manufacturing. Most critically, ULVAC strictly prohibits the use of our products in the development or proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. That includes nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons, missile technology, and even certain UAV (drone) applications.
We know these regulations can sometimes feel distant or bureaucratic. But they have real-world impact. They ensure that companies like ULVAC remain stewards of ethical and responsible technology use. They protect our ability to do business globally. And they help create a safer world.
When we ask for your End User Declaration, we’re not just checking a box—we’re upholding a commitment. To our customers. To the law. And to a higher standard of doing business..
Thank you for being part of that commitment.
