Shelf Life: General industry guidelines suggest that petroleum-based lubricants like ULVOIL can typically be stored for up to three years under proper conditions without significant degradation. To maximize the shelf life of ULVOIL, consider the following storage recommendations:
Temperature: Store the oil in a cool environment, ideally between 60°F and 85°F (15°C to 30°C). Container Integrity: Keep the oil in its original, sealed container to prevent contamination and oxidation.
Environment: Store the container in a dry, dark place to protect it from moisture and direct sunlight. Before using ULVOIL that has been stored for an extended period, inspect the oil for any signs of degradation, such as changes in color, consistency, or the presence of sediments. If any abnormalities are observed, it's advisable to consult with ULVAC or an authorized distributor to ensure the oil's suitability for use.
