Vacuum Materials
The application fields of
vacuum materials are very broad, covering the range from silver
and gold thread materials to food processing, medicine, and
electronic related equipment such as semiconductors, optical
magnetic disks, and liquid crystal displays. The materials
are very closely tied to current high technology.
Fire Resistant Materials for
Vacuum
Melting Furnace
Fire and heat resistant materials
are available, starting with crucibles for melting of various
metals with different melting points. The abundant lineup
includes products made of alumina, magnesia, zirconia, and
other materials.
• Materials: Alumina, mullite, magnesia, zirconia, spinel,
graphite, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide
Carbon Fiber Products
Insulation materials, consisting
of carbon and graphite fibers for vacuum furnaces, are provided
with excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability.
The materials are optimum for furnaces with inert gas environments,
such as vacuum furnaces. The low heat capacity and lightweight
of the materials promises good energy efficiency.
• Material: Graphite fiber
(baked at +2000 °C)
• Products (shapes): Felt, formed thermal insulation
materials, paper, bulk, and yarn
Graphite Products for Vacuum

Furnaces
Graphite products, such
as heater materials, vacuum furnace electrodes, structural
materials, crucibles, and jigs, with excellent heat tolerances
up to +3000 °C in a vacuum. The materials, used in such
areas as single crystal drawing equipment and thermal processing
furnaces, are indispensable in leading-edge technologies.
Processing
Products for High Melting Point Metals
Machined products of high
melting point metals (+2500 °C or more) with excellent
chemical stability and machining precision can be entrusted
to us with confidence. Various products, including crucible
liners for EB deposition and parts for ion injection equipment,
are available.
• Materials: Molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, etc.
