FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERS - Urgent
Requirements for All Levels
Locations - Methuen, MA; Manassas, VA; Austin, TX; Boise,
ID; Lehi, UT; Phoenix, AZ and Toronto, Canada
Bachelor's or Associate's technical degree
and 0-8 years' experience, or equivalent training and experience.
Military experience, a plus. Semiconductor vacuum applications
knowledge; electromechanical troubleshooting skills; field
installation, servicing and modification experience; able
to read drawings and schematics; cleanroom/fab experience;
and CVD, PVD, Sputter or RF Etch experience. Represents the
company in a customer support role and is responsible for
customer satisfaction. Prepares daily logs and reports of
work performed for service history and billing purposes. Must
be able to travel internationally (with no restrictions) for
training, if necessary.
Most positions are normal working hours (Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00)
with rotating 24x7 pager coverage.
TECHNICAL TRAINER
Location - Methuen, MA
Bachelor's degree in related technical
or communication field and 2-5 years' experience (preferably
within the semiconductor industry), or equivalent training
and experience. Determines training goals and objectives;
writes and administers all training programs; provides continuous
improvement to all training programs; instructs employees
and customers in the proper operation, maintenance, safety,
etc. procedures of equipment manufactured by ULVAC; and administers
exams. Must possess excellent teaching, coaching and interpersonal
skills; training documentation/presentation tools development;
strong visual, oral and written communications skills; strong
computer skills; and project management experience. Proven
experience in equipment mechanical maintenance, controls,
electronics, troubleshooting, cleanroom, teaching or field
service, a plus. 20-30% international and domestic travel.
TECHNICAL PRODUCT MARKETING SPECIALIST
I
Location - Japan for 2-3 years and return to Methuen, MA
This is a junior-level position in Technical
Product Marketing. Hired candidate will be required to work
and train in ULVAC’s headquarters in Japan for 2-3 years
to learn about ULVAC and its products and markets. Upon completion
of the 2-3 year assignment, the candidate will be expected
to return to the U.S. and work for the subsidiary company,
ULVAC Technologies, Inc. The qualified candidate must be (1)
able to speak, read and write Japanese and English, (2) self-motivated
and express desire to learn many technical aspects of ULVAC’s
business, and (3) flexible and interested in adopting, absorbing
and adapting both American and Japanese cultures. B.S. degree
in engineering and 1-2 years experience in any industry but
interested in vacuum complicated equipment/technology.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Location - Methuen, MA
BSEE/BSCS with 5 years experience. Primarily
responsible to develop and maintain SECS/GEM equipment to
host interface. Also responsible to design, implement, test
and maintain PC-based software for high vacuum equipment.
Real-time controls, Human-Machine-Interface, data communications,
C++, C# Wonderware/Intouch experience and SECS/GEM experience,
a plus. Occasional travel required.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Entry Level
Location - Methuen, MA
BSEE/BSCS with <1 - 2 years' experience. Must be experienced in "C" programming language and possess Japanese/English bilingual skills (reading, writing, speaking). Semiconductor machine control experience preferred. Position based in Methuen, MA HQ facility, and visa sponsorship authorized. Initial training will be conducted in Japan for 2-3 months. Extensive nationwide and some international travel required.
MATERIALS ADMINISTRATION / COORDINATION
Location - Methuen, MA
2-4 year degree preferred with 5+ years' experience in a materials organization. Purchasing experience: order placement; expediting; back-ordered parts control and follow up; rejected material control and follow-up; vendor file control and maintenance; purchase order file control and maintenance; etc. Production control experience: issue of work orders; rework orders; pull manufacturing part kits from stock; pull sales order material from stock; issue or fll back-orders from stock; inventory cycle counts; etc. Shipping & Receiving experience: receipt of material into and the shipment of material out of ULVAC; etc. Candidate must possess strong computer and data entry skills; proficient in Excel and Word; strong telephone skills; at ease working in either an office or stockroom environment; able to work 40 hrs in a diversified, fast-paced environment; and
must be a motivated, self-starter.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/FINANCIAL ANALYST
Location - Methuen, MA
BS in Accounting and 3-6 years' accounting experience. Responsible to head up special projects regarding JSOX, legal compliance, new financial reporting requirements, etc.
Candidate must be motivated, detail-oriented, a team player, and maintain a positive attitude at all times. This is a newly-created position due to the growth of department responsibilities.
