REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - Defined
Eastern Region Territory / Commissionable sales position with
up to 50% domestic and international travel per business and
customer requirements.
B.S., M.S. or PhD level degree and 9-11
years' semiconductor, solar, display and specialty technology
markets sales experience. Must have good understanding of customer
bases in the industries; knowledge of the specific technologies and
products and competition in these areas; knowledge of sales cycles
for capital equipment, sales strategies, market penetration and
account management, as well as clear and proven strategies to
achieve bookings and gross margins. Must possess the following skills:
- Ability to effectively interface with customers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess a thorough understanding of sales skills and
tactics, and have demonstrated use of these skills in the past
- Strong people management skills for up to (5) direct
reports, i.e. Regional Account Manager, Regional Sales Engineer, etc.
- Ability to establish relationships with executive-level customers
- Familiarity with ULVAC semiconductor group products
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Experience in working for a Japanese capital equipment
company with proficiency in written and/or spoken Japanese and English, a plus
